About Eduscape VR

The story behind the project

Eduscape VR started as a student-led passion project to make anatomy education more engaging. Using VR headsets and custom 3D models, our team visits local schools to run hands-on anatomy sessions that let students walk through the human body in a way a textbook never could. What began as a small demo for one classroom has grown into a full outreach program built and run entirely by high schoolers.

Hello! My name is Rishan Chakraborty, and I have been a member of FIRST Tech Challenge team 12599 Overcharged since 2024. From a young age, I have loved building, solving puzzles, and challenging myself with difficult problems. Learning how to solve problems and expanding my STEM experience are things I greatly enjoy, and robotics offers the opportunity to do just that! Throughout school, I earned multiple awards in math and science competitions. I also volunteered as a tutor for Chinmaya Mission’s ELL program (link), working with elementary students from IRCO to support immigrant and refugee families. This was a deeply meaningful experience that inspired me to continue service with underserved communities. Now, as a Programming Lead and Driver with Overcharged, I am excited to introduce FIRST robotics to students from underserved families, with a special focus on immigrant and refugee communities. We hope to spark curiosity, build confidence, and provide hands-on exposure to STEM through engaging robotics activities. If you are interested in having Overcharged visit community or organization, please feel free to reach out to overchargedrobotics@gmail.com. We would love to connect and collaborate with you.
